Before A Series of Unfortunate Events, Lemony Snicket asked All the Wrong Questions – four wrong questions, more or less. This is the account of the third.

Ellington Feint and Lemony Snicket in “Who Could That Be at This Hour?”
i’m loving the book series… makes me miss A Series of Unfortunate Events!
Quick sketchies of book characters
Ellington Feint from “All the Wrong Questions” series
Now you can be sure…now you have found her, and now you can say her name
For the #ATWQFanArt contest, the duplicitous heroine Ellington Feint. The quote is from Chapter 7 of When Did You See Her Last? The music notes are (very loosely) the tune of Duke Ellington’s “Sophisticated Lady”, which I thought was a good fit. The book page is just a book page, and symbolically unrelated. Full view looks best!
All The Wrong Questions, Ellington Feint and Lemony Snicket
I got Lemony Snicket’s most recent book for Christmas, and spent the past couple of hours blowing right through it. <3 Couldn’t help doing a quick picture of my favorite character, Ellington Feint.
"It was not so dark that I couldn’t see her strange, curved eyebrows, each one coiled over like a question mark. Green eyes she had, and hair so black it made the night look pale. She had long fingers, with nails just as black, and they poked out of a black shirt with long, smooth sleeves." - Pg. 131, “Who Could That Be at This Hour?”
